The all-rounder was instrumental in RR’s title-winning campaign in the inaugural IPL season, earning the nickname “rockstar” from the legendary Shane Warne.
After departing RR in 2011 for Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Jadeja was acquired by CSK in the 2012 mega auction and went on to become one of the franchise’s most valuable players over the next 13 years. With CSK, Jadeja amassed 3,260 runs at an average of 27.86 and a strike rate of 130, while also claiming 170 wickets and taking 109 catches across more than 250 IPL matches.
The Strategic Addition of Sanju Samson
For Chennai Super Kings, acquiring Sanju Samson represents a significant strategic move.
