COLDPLAY ADDS 2 NEW ASIA DATES FOR 2024 AOW OWING TO OVERMIGHTING DEMAND

IN SINGAPORE, BAND BREAKS RECORD FOR MOST TICKETS SOLD IN A DAY

As part of their historic Music Of The Spheres World Tour, Coldplay has announced extra dates. This comes after the band’s recently scheduled January and February 2024 performances in Asia sold out spectacularly.

Coldplay, who has already made history by revealing an unprecedented four-show run at Singapore’s biggest arena, will now become the first artist to perform six nights at National Stadium in Singapore. With almost 200,000 tickets sold in a single day, the band also shattered Singapore’s record for the most tickets sold by an artist.

The band has sold over 7 million tickets since the first date of the Music of the Spheres World Tour in March 2022, which is more than any other tour during the previous two years. Both critics and fans have praised the tour greatly, and it has won awards such as Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards and Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs.

The band released an update on the tour’s sustainability efforts earlier in June. They said that 5 million trees have already been planted worldwide (one for each concertgoer) and that, when comparing show-by-show, their current tour has so far produced 47% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016/17.

Additionally, Coldplay has announced that a small quantity of Infinity Tickets would be offered for the performances at a later time. Every Coldplay performance features the introduction of Infinity Tickets, which allow fans to experience the Music Of The Spheres World Tour at a reasonable cost. Each ticket will set you back the equivalent of $20 USD. Tickets can only be purchased in pairs, with each buyer being able to purchase a maximum of two (which will be situated next to each other).
